ABOUT KIDZPLAY NETBALL

Founded in 1999, Kidzplay Netball is a welcoming and inclusive netball league for Year 1–6 primary school players, located in Albany on Auckland’s North Shore. We provide an encouraging environment where children can develop their ball skills, teamwork, and fair play, all while experiencing the joy of team sports. Our focus is on creating fun, active experiences that nurture each player’s growth both on and off the court.

• Winter Open Netball League – Held during Terms 2 & 3
• Spring Open Netball League – Held in Term 4

At Kidzplay Netball, we tailor our leagues to suit the developmental stages of each year level:

• Year 1 players participate in a non-competitive, 6-a-side league, designed to focus on fun and skill development.
• From Year 2 onwards, players transition to a 7-a-side format with modified rules that help them gradually grow into the full game.

Venue: All games are played at Pinehurst School, 75 Bush Road, Albany.

Teams from schools or groups of friends (not affiliated with a school) are invited to join our league. We are excited to welcome you and your team to be part of Kidzplay Netball. Please note that registrations are only accepted for teams, not individual players.
